A delightful and absorbing novel about three families spanning 3 centuries whose lives are interconnected revolving around art and love.
For lovers of historical fiction this is a joyous read. ‘The Personal Librarian’ is a collaboration from Marie Benedict and Victoria Christopher Murray based on the true story of an African American woman who helped J. P. Morgan build his prestigious and famous manuscript and art collection during the beginning of the 20th century all the while passing as a white woman.
LOVE IS IN THE AIR
This month The Reading Den is delighted to share its February Bright Ideas. 'The Pursuit of Love' is a wonderful escapist novel and a timely read as it hits our TV screens next month. 'The Winter Soldier' is a story of love, regret and salvation set in WW1 and our Wild Card choice, 'By Grand Central Station I Sat Down and Wept', is a remarkable work of poetic prose about living for love.
